TZSKATE Tour and Official Launch Event

Official Launch Event

Tanzania Skateboarding Organization aims at developing skateboarding throughout the country by providing skateboarding equipments, building skateparks and facilitating training programs for people of all ages and gender.

Furthermore, we organize skateboarding competitions in National and International level and encourage young talented Tanzanians by promoting their accomplishment through competitions.

Our project started on the 21st of June where we celebrated Go Skateboarding Day. We met at Don Bosco Youth Center then started cruising from there to Dar es Salaam City center. From the city center we made our way passing the new Tanzanite Bridge ending at Coco Beach.

We launched our organization on the 25th of June at Don Bosco Youth Center. The turn out on the event was more than we expected. Around 50+ skateboarders attended the event and 80+ came as spectators. Nonetheless, it was an incredible experience sharing skateboarding with that many people.
